GP Bullhound releases its 2018 Technology Predictions Report

OUR VIEW :

We believe GP Bullhound is one of the best technology investment banks and greatly appreciate their content. Their tech predictions are generally a bit "high level" for not being true but are useful to track innovation trends worldwide; we noticed the lack of "FoodTech" (a key investment thesis of LMVP) but believe most of the other trends are significant for the short and long term. Within the list, we would focus on Cybersecurity at the consumer level, the new products in the translation industry, the labour arbitrage opportunities fuelled by the distributed teams and the enormous trend of Industry 4.0 which will impact the majority of industries in the "manufacturing led" Continental Europe.
